Features and Advantages
• Combination of plasma cutting and punching in a single frame. Thanks to the independently supported plasma unit frame (separate frame for the plasma module), the system ensures vibration-free operation of the plasma torch alongside the heavy punching mechanics — resulting in clean plasma contours and, at the same time, precisely punched or formed elements.
• HiFocus technology (high-quality narrow plasma). The use of a HiFocus inverter power source (range 4…160 A; CombiCut is equipped with a 160 A version) provides relatively “thin” cutting with minimal heat-affected zones, reduced burr formation, and excellent edge straightness. This allows high-quality cutting of even thin sheets and acceptable edge quality without the need for a laser.
• Fast and flexible tool operation. Compatibility with Trumpf-style punches and the Revotool system (4/6/7/8-station) enables rapid tool changes (1 sec with Revotool; 15 sec manual change) and high variability in hole and contour shapes.
• High positioning accuracy and repeatability. Positional accuracy of ±0.10 mm and repeatability of ±0.03 mm ensure that hole dimensions and contour positions are reproduced with minimal deviations — essential for serial production and assemblies that require precise fit-up or welding.
• Automated small-part removal. A programmable hatch below the plasma head enables automatic ejection of finished parts up to 500 × 500 mm, improving operator safety and ease of use.
