Schröder PowerShear 40/6 is a new-generation hydraulic guillotine shear engineered for intensive industrial use. It is designed for high-precision straight-line cutting, heavy-duty reliability, and seamless integration into serial production environments. The machine combines a rigid frame design with an energy-efficient drive system—featuring frequency-controlled pump motor regulation—and automated cutting parameter adjustments. These features ensure perfectly flat workpieces with minimal edge twisting and reduced material waste.
The PowerShear 40/6 is rated for processing sheet metal up to 6.0 mm thick (at σ≈400 N/mm2) with a useful cutting length of 4040 mm. This configuration is exceptionally well-suited for manufacturing strips, facade elements, ventilation components, and other medium-to-large format serial workpieces.
