ORBIWELD TP 1000 (AVC/OSC) is the largest and most functional Open Arc Orbital Weld Head in the TP series, designed for multi-layer welding of large diameter, thick-walled pipes in the range of 120 mm to 275 mm (OD). The head features built-in functions for Automatic Voltage Control (AVC) and Oscillation (OSC), as well as an integrated cold wire feed unit.
Features and Advantages
Automatic Voltage Control (AVC): Automatically maintains a constant arc length for stable weld quality when welding large, thick-walled pipes.
Oscillation (OSC): Allows for multi-layer welding and effectively filling wide weld bevels. Maximum oscillation path: 20 mm.
Integrated Wire Feed (KD3−100): The cold wire feed unit, with a D100 mm/1 kg spool, is mounted directly on the housing.
Optimal Support: Standardly equipped with tool steel clamping plates.
Motorized Drive: Provides the capability for motorized drive for easy adjustment of the torch position.
Compatibility: The AVC/OSC functions only work with the ORBIMAT 300 CA AVC/OSC power source.
