Boschert CuMaster is a versatile, industrial machine for high-performance processing of copper, aluminum and steel bars and strips. The CuMaster is designed for no-leftover processing of wide bars: it can handle material up to 305 mm wide and up to 20 mm thick, while providing a large set of tools (multi-tools) and automatic feeding/unloading. The machine is designed as a modular line with automatic moving clamps and options for cutting, marking, threading and stamping – all in a single, integrated cycle.
Features and Advantages• Designed for wide busbars and large thicknesses. The CuMaster is engineered for processing busbars up to 305 mm in width and 20 mm in thickness, making it suitable for a wide range of electrical and power distribution components.• Multi-tool architecture – flexibility with minimal downtime. The machine’s eight working stations can be equipped either with 8-position multi-tools (Ø up to 16 mm) or 3-position multi-tools (Ø up to 31.7 mm). This configuration allows a large number of tool positions for fast changeovers — depending on setup, the system can accommodate up to 48–64 tools.• Two-stage punching cylinder – power and speed in one. The CuMaster features a dual-stroke punching cylinder: a slow stroke delivering 600 kN (60 t) and a fast stroke with 220 kN (22 t). This provides both high forming power for heavy-duty operations and high dynamics for serial hole punching.• Automatic moving clamps and zero-waste operation. The clamping system automatically adapts to busbar width and can move along the X-axis from both sides, allowing “scrap-free” processing and maximum material utilization.• Fully automated feeding and unloading. Supports right-side automatic loading with Schneider control, pneumatic suction cups (4 mm or 6 mm) for feeding, conveyor-based discharge systems, small-part collection trays, and programmable flaps for part ejection — minimizing manual labor and ensuring stable cycle times.• Multifunctional processing in one setup. Punching, cutting (parting tool), marking, threading (tapping unit), and embossing can all be performed on the same machine base — reducing process logistics and total cycle time.
Standard Equipment• Solid welded frame with automatic moving clamps traveling along the X-axis.• Eight tool stations (standard configuration).• Dual-stage punching cylinder: slow stroke 600 kN / fast stroke 220 kN.• Standard unloading table with hinged conveyor and ejector; small-part tray included.• 10.5″ TFT display with graphic and “conversion” software, USB and LAN ports, and online service capability.
Options• 200 × 8 mm parting tool — extended cutting station for wide busbars.• Automatic suction loader (4 mm or 6 mm cups) — for continuous serial operation.• Thread tapping unit — integrated module for threaded hole processing.• Up to three embossing cylinders (60 kN each) — for raised markings or stamping.• Sorting trays and programmable flap — automatic sorting and collection of small parts.• Multi-tool variants — 8-position (8×16 mm) or 3-position (3×31.7 mm); various combinations available to optimize tool sets for your product range.
