RAS XXL-Center is a powerful automated centralized folding machine designed for long and profiled sheet metal parts. The machine is intended for production environments requiring high productivity, minimal manual labor, and the capability to process serial facade profiles, wall coverings, roofing profiles, etc. The model supports automated sheet loading, positioning, squaring, Up/Down folding, automatic programming, a cutting module (optional), and features a very large free space in front of the folding beams for complex geometries.

Features and Advantages  
  • Automatic Blank Loading and Positioning: The sheet is placed on loading tables, then squaring fingers (blank squaring) automatically extend to correct the blank's position, and finally, grippers secure it for the subsequent fold.

  • Up/Down Folding: The folding beams operate both upwards and downwards, eliminating the need to manually flip the part, thereby saving time and boosting productivity.

  • CutModule (Optional): A sheet cutting module. If selected, the software indicates where to insert the material, the blank is automatically pulled, positioned, clamped, and automatically cut to the required size prior to folding.

  • Large Free Space in Front of the Folding Beams (Up to ): Allows for the use of complex profiled shapes, boxes, and parts with large protrusions and flanges.

  • Sensitive Material Surface Processing: The tools glide with the blank to prevent scratches or damage to painted or lacquered surfaces; the grippers then hold and fold without excessive friction.

  • Bendex Software: Automatic generation of folding sequences, 2D/3D simulation, suggestions for bending strategies and tooling, and collision checking.

  • Flexibility in Profile Shapes and Materials: Capability to manufacture both simple and complex facade profiles, roof/wall elements, and blanks with mixed angles and flanges.

Standard Equipment  
  • Blank Loading Tables: For convenient loading of blanks before operation.

  • Automatic Blank Squaring: Squaring fingers extend from the table surface to correct the blank's position.

  • Grippers: Automatic gripping of the blank and its positioning for each fold. Grippers can hold a straight part of the blank or closed flanges/boxes.

  • Program Control (Bendex Software): Automatic programming, simulation, bending strategy, and remote/office programming capability.

  • Folding Beams with Up/Down Capability: For every fold without the need to manually rotate the blank.

  • Free Space in Front of the Folding Beams (Up to ): Allows for large protrusions, and working with boxes and parts with deep flanges.

Options / Expansion Capabilities  
  • CutModule: Module for cutting the blank before folding, if precise blank length is required.

  • Special Grippers: Optional grippers for flanges up to high, designed for parts with protrusions or complex flanges.
