Wammes Gasket Shaper Universal (GS-U) is a highly automated hydraulic machine from Wammes Machinery GmbH (Germany), specifically designed for forming sealing grooves (channels) on round ducts and fittings. The primary function of the machine is to create projections or grooves on the ends of parts that ensure an ideal fit and airtightness when connected with rubber seals (e.g., in systems with airtightness class D). Thanks to the automatic PLC system and a touchscreen, the operator only needs to input the diameter and metal thickness, after which the machine performs the forming process autonomously.
