Forstner SLIT CUT 1500 is a compact and economical line for the longitudinal slitting of coiled metal into strips (schtrips) and cutting to size (Slit & Cut-to-length). The CUT model is equipped with integrated Roller Shears for cross-cutting, ensuring optimal production economy.

Features and Advantages  
  • Roller Shears: Cross-cutting is performed by roller shears, which ensure high speed and efficiency.
  • Ergonomics: The control panel and guide bars are positioned so that the operator can work from both sides of the machine, providing flexibility in utilizing the workspace.
  • "Cap-Locking" System: The unique knife fixing system (Cap-Locking) uses a crescent-shaped latch made of soft steel, which prevents damage to the slitting knives.
  • Material Saving: The function of automatic lifting of the cutting knives when cross-cutting a whole sheet is required minimizes scrap.
  • LED Illumination: Lighting of the cutting zone facilitates quick and precise knife adjustment.
