Description

• Designed for non-standard welding positions—for example, box-header or internal bore welding ($\mathbf{IBW}$), where the tube is recessed or access is restricted.

• Manufactured customized upon request for specific installation geometries.

• For the $P16/P16AVC/P20$ heads: standard torches cover a range from an Inner Diameter ($\mathbf{ID}$) of $9.5\text{ mm}$ to $80\text{ mm}$.

Purpose

• When the installation of the pipe or tube joint has space or access limitations.

• When it is necessary to weld from the inside of the tube ($\mathbf{IBW}$) or within the heat exchanger housing ($\mathbf{box}-\mathbf{header}$).

• Increase system versatility: ability to work with non-standard geometries.

2. Closed Gas Covers ($\mathbf{Closed}\mathbf{Gas}\mathbf{Cover}$)

Description

• Used for welding titanium tubes or other materials that require full inert gas coverage ($\mathbf{full}\mathbf{gas}\mathbf{cover}$) during orbital welding.

• For the $P16$ series: Part number $831001101$ – closed gas cover for $P16$.

• For the $P20$ series: Part number $832020002$ – closed gas cover for $P20$.

Purpose

• Provide optimal shielding conditions with argon (or another inert gas) to minimize inclusions and oxidation when welding sensitive materials.

• Recommended for applications in the pharmaceutical, food, and high-tech industries, where atmosphere control is critical.
