Eckold MKF 130/16 is a mobile hydraulic Kraftformer (powerful forming press) executed in a C-Frame format. It is designed to perform operations requiring significantly greater force than the MZ-pliers can provide. The MKF 130/16 is ideally suited for the precise flanging (beading), straightening (reforming), clinching, and stretching of thick metal sheets on large blanks (reservoirs, tanks, aerospace components) that cannot be moved to a stationary press.
The MKF 130/16 system consists of several key components:
Mobile C-Frame: The main power element that houses the tools. Made of high-strength steel.
Roller Stops: Adjustable guides (often with Teflon rollers) for precise workpiece guidance and preventing surface damage.
Exchangeable Tool Inserts: A wide range of tools (for clinching, stretching, flanging) allows the machine to be quickly adapted to a specific task.
Hydraulic Power Unit (e.g., HA 510): An external power block that provides high operating pressure.
Control System: Two-hand safety start and the ability to limit the tool stroke for precise repeatability.
