Spiro Flanging Machine 16S Gauge is a high-production machine for forming 90∘ flanges used in the manufacturing of duct components. This model is optimized for working with relatively thick material (up to 1.6 mm) and is standardly equipped for preparing edges for the Pittsburgh lock connection.
Purpose: Fast and precise forming of corner flanges for joining.
Key Task: Processing of both straight and curved (radius) blanks (e.g., elbow segments).
16S Gauge Index: Indicates the maximum material thickness the machine can handle (corresponding to 16 gauge).
Forming Roller Set: For creating the 90∘ corner flange required for the Pittsburgh lock.
Drive Mechanism: Designed for high torque to work with material up to 1.6 mm thick.
Height Setting Mechanism: A system for precise setting and locking of the desired flange height.
Reliable Housing: Massive construction ensuring minimal vibration and durability.
Attachments for Other Lock Types: Although the 16S model is standardly intended for Pittsburgh, separate Spiro models exist for other connections (e.g., 20S for Snaplock), or an option for changing forming rollers for other flange types may be available.
Special Material Execution: For example, rollers and components optimized for working with stainless steel.
