RAS Multibend-Center 79.22-2 is a high-technology automatic folding center for panel and box-shaped parts for medium and large series production, delivering high productivity, flexibility, and precision. The machine integrates automatic blank loading, position scanning (Magic-Eye), manipulation, bending programs, automatic unloading, a tool changer, and a contactless bending system with deflection compensation. This model is suitable for production environments prioritizing fast cycle times, minimal manual labor, high surface quality, and the ability to process both simple and complex part geometries.
Magic-Eye Scanner: Non-contact blank position detection compensates for any displacement before the bending cycle, significantly increasing accuracy.
Main Manipulator / Holder: Fixes and positions the part during all operations, ensuring an orientation accuracy of ±0.001∘ during rotation.
Automatic Tool Changer (ATC): Enables quick changeover between the upper beam and folding beam tools.
Up/Down Bending: Bending operations can be performed upwards and downwards, allowing for the processing of counter-bends, internal flanges, and other complex contours without the need to flip the blank.
High Box Height: Capable of producing box-shaped parts or flanges with a significant rise, up to 203 mm.
Wide Blank Size Range and Versatile Geometries: Ability to bend various shapes, including internal bends, stiffening ribs, small flanges, and radii.
High Precision and Repeatability: Achieved through the use of servo drives, rigid construction, and automatic setup adjustments.
Magic-Eye Blank Scanner: Positioning and measuring the shape/size of the blank before feeding into the bending cycle.
Main Manipulator: For fixing and rotating the blank.
Folding Beam Tooling: Standard bending and clamping tools (upper, bending, lower tools) with quick-change capability.
Up/Down Capable Folding Beam: The bending beam can execute bends in both directions.
Support for Large Box Heights: Up to 203 mm for four-sided parts.
Automatic Control System Components (Software): Manages the entire process flow: loading, scanning, manipulation, tool changer, and bending.
