Schröder Power-Bend-Center is an integrated sheet metal processing solution from Hans Schröder Maschinenbau designed for fully or partially automated bending operations. It combines advanced bending machines, an automated tool changer, a high-precision manipulator, and sophisticated sensors into one unified system. It is specifically engineered for series production where speed, repeatable accuracy, and minimization of manual intervention are paramount.
Full Automation: The Center receives blanks from prior operations (e.g., laser cutting or automatic punching). The manipulator grips, positions, clamps, rotates, and turns the sheet as required, controlling its position using high-resolution camera systems.
Evolution-Series Bending Machine: Features the Evolution-Series capability for Up-and-Down Bending, allowing large and bulky parts to be processed without the operator having to manually flip (turn) the sheet.
Quick Tool Changer in the Clamping Beam: Automatically sets up the required tooling for the next order, significantly reducing setup and changeover times (RST), even for single parts.
High Movement Speeds: High speed drives contribute to maximum productivity, including the bending beam moving up to $\mathbf{300^\circ/\text{sec}}$, and the clamping beam traversing quickly (up to $\mathbf{\sim400 \text{ mm/sec}}$) with a wide opening stroke.
Enhanced Clamping Beam Opening Height: A large opening (gap) of $\mathbf{850 \text{ mm}}$ allows processing of components with great height or complex, pre-bent shapes.
Unified Software Environment — POS 3000: A single control platform handles all functions, from programming and pre-production (CAD import, simulation) to managing all integrated components: the manipulator, tool changer, and the bending machine itself.
