APS Ultra is a specialized line (rollformer) from Wammes for the serial production of pod-frames for sound-attenuator splitters. The frame forms a frame of the required width and profile; the edges are rolled up by 180° for additional rigidity, slots and perforations are made for quick assembly, and the final frame is assembled/connected with rivets. The configuration allows the production of pods with a width of 100 to 300 mm (intermediate sizes are stepless), using rolled material of galvanized steel 0.5–0.6 mm.
