Hornung TSK 600 is an automated, high-precision machine for the cold working of pipe ends. It is specifically designed for the operations of flanging (beading), seaming (swaging), roller burnishing, and trimming of pipes and cylindrical blanks. The TSK 600 machine ensures ideal geometric shape and high repeatability of the final product, which is critical for the manufacturing of ventilation components, chimneys, as well as pipes and elbows for the gas industry and other systems requiring high joint tightness (e.g., for sealing rings).
The TSK 600 is a multifunctional machine that can perform a number of operations on pipe ends:
Beading / Swaging (Sicken): Creating annular projections (beads) or grooves (slots) on the pipe end. For example, creating stop beads or grooves for rubber sealing rings.
Flanging / Bördeln: Forming a wide flange on the end of the pipe.
Roller Burnishing / Smoothing (Glätten): Additional surface treatment that ensures ideal shape, smoothness, and repeatability of the geometry, increasing the tightness of the joints.
Trimming: Optional function for final cutting or edge forming.
The TSK 600 is a highly automated machine that minimizes the influence of human factors on the quality of the final product:
Automatic Feed (Stem): The machine is equipped with a linear guide rail with ball bearing carriages that precisely hold and automatically feed the pipe into the working area and return it. This significantly accelerates the processing cycle.
High-Precision Pipe Guides: The pipe is held by two self-centering outer rollers and one lower roller with adjustable stroke. This guarantees precise positioning and the absence of vibrations during forming.
Siemens PLC Control System: Control is executed using an industrial Siemens controller with a Touch Panel. This allows the operator to easily enter parameters, pipe diameter, and beading depth.
Self-learning Function: The possibility of manually processing the first part in a batch, after which the machine automatically adopts these parameters for the entire subsequent series.
Depth Measurement: High forming accuracy due to a depth indicator (resolution 0.01 mm), allowing for extremely precise adjustment of the bead depth.
