Prinzing RFZH 12 is a large-scale, floor-mounted manual machine designed for the high-quality and reliable pressing of longitudinal lock seams on tube workpieces (ductwork, ventilation, and chimney pipes). This model serves as a transition from light manual machines to powerful motorized complexes (RFZ). Thanks to its reinforced construction and long working console, it allows for processing steel up to 1.2 mm thick and large-diameter products with high precision, without requiring an electrical connection for the seam-closing operation itself.
Features and Advantages
Standard Equipment
The base configuration of the Prinzing RFZH 12 is supplied for efficient manual work with large-scale products:
Main Machine Body: Featuring a reinforced floor-mounted box-shaped welded construction (not for wall mounting).
Manual Drive Mechanism.
Long Working Console (Mandrel): Providing a seam length of 1020 mm.
High-Strength Hardened Pressure Rolls: One pair of rolls that can be optimized for internal, external, or central lock seams.
Round Mandrel: Minimum diameter of 90 mm.
Options
Since the RFZH 12 is a manual version, most options are related to expanding its tooling capabilities:
Additional Rolls: Interchangeable pairs of rolls for specific types of lock joints or for working with different materials (e.g., stainless steel).
Non-Standard Cross-Section Mandrels: Specialized mandrels for processing square, rectangular, or oval ductwork.
