The Promotech Vacuum Pad for Magnetic Drilling Machines is a specialized clamping accessory designed to secure magnetic base drills to non-magnetic and non-ferrous surfaces. It enables operators to efficiently utilize portable magnetic drills on workpieces made of stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and thin carbon steels, or on surfaces where direct electromagnetic adhesion is unachievable due to material properties.

  • Broad Compatibility: Tailored specifically for Promotech’s compact drilling series (PRO-36, PRO-40, PRO-50, PRO-51, PRO-55, etc.), yet easily adaptable to similar magnetic drills from other brands.

Standard Equipment

  • Vacuum Pad featuring a designated steel surface area for mounting the drill's electromagnetic base.

  • 2-meter Vacuum Hose equipped with a DN 7.2 quick-coupling connection.

  • Vacuum Power System (for the base configuration intended for use with a portable vacuum pump).

Options

  • Compressed Air Supply Module (Venturi Ejector): A specialized block that utilizes a compressed air supply line to generate a vacuum based on the Bernoulli/Venturi principle. This is an ideal solution for manufacturing facilities with pre-routed pneumatic lines.

  • Vacuum Hose Extension: An additional 8 mm diameter air hose to extend the working radius (the maximum total length of the hose system can reach up to 10 meters).

  • Specialized Extended Pilot Pins: Lengthened ejector pins (ranging from 127 mm to 160 mm) for HSS and TCT annular cutters to compensate for the stack height introduced by the vacuum pad.
